The First Aid course is specifically designed for those individuals working or intending to work in humanitarian
operations overseas in often remote and dangerous environments where immediate high levels of care are not
always available. This course is intended as a specialized occupational course for the individual requiring a good
understanding of pre-hospital care and the implications of an isolated environment with limited equipment for
extended periods of time.
Emphasis is placed on participants achieving a high level of understanding and realistic practical scenarios.
By the end of this training course, participants will know how to:

Airway Management

Cardiac Arrest

Soft Tissue Injuries

Musculoskeletal/CNS Injuries

Medical Emergencies

- Heat and cold injuries
Extrication and Rescue

- Specialized rescue

This course is intended for those who wants basic understanding of emergency care as well as a basic grasp or related clinical theories and to people in the construction workplace or general community who wish to gain standard first aid skills at their workplace or personal benefit.
